GALLERY

26 contestants from 11 countries had been qualified to join the live rounds of the 2014 NTD Internal Piano Competition. After two days of intense competition at Baruch College‘s Ingleman Hall, the judges selected six finalists to move on to the final round. On October 5th, the six finalists performed at the Rising Stars Concert, held at Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall.
After the concert, the competition award ceremony took the stage, Timur Mustakimov of Russia took home the gold medal and a prize of $10,000 U.S. dollars. NTDTV president Tang Zhong and renowned pianist Antonio Pompa-Baldi were the award presenters.
